Gabrielle is thrilled to make her debut performance at Boca Raton’s Mizner Cultural Center presenting “I Walk With Music: The Music of Johnny Mercer and Hoagy Carmichael.”

The show dedicated to the classic music of Johnny Mercer and Hoagy Carmichael – songs they wrote together in their 30-year collaboration, as well as works created with other legendary writers like Henry Mancini, Harold Arlen and Mitchell Parish. The show presents some of Mercer and Carmichael’s best-loved songs including “Skylark” and “In The Cool, Cool, Cool of the Evening,” and more than a few lesser-known gems like “I Walk With Music,” “It Must Have Been You All the Time,” and some of the indelible standards they produced with other writers like “Stardust,” “That Old Black Magic,” and “Come Rain or Come Shine.” Stravelli will weave in fascinating stories of Mercer and Carmichael’s collaborations, from their big hits to their flop Broadway musicals, as well as a show-stopping medley of highlights from Johnny Mercer, a man who at the top of his career had a song in the Top Ten every week of the year.
