The Gabrielle Stravelli Quintet teams up with Pakistan's Zaman Zaki Taji Qawal group for an inspired melding of Juan Tizol and Duke Ellington's 'Caravan' and a traditional Qawaali melody. The Gabrielle Stravelli Quartet (David Cook piano, Pat O'Leary bass, Eric Halvorson drums) collaborate with Sevda Alekperzadeh and Elchin Shirinov on an arrangement melding the traditional Azerbaijani song "Sachlarina Gul Duzum" and the classic American song "When October Goes". Stravelli's group performed in Azerbaijan in April 2017 to celebrate 25 years of diplomatic relations between the US and Azerbaijan.
