In collaboration with 92NY and Congregation Rodeph Sholom, guitarist Dan Nadel is curating and leading a yearlong concert series. Bridges in Sound brings together diverse musical traditions and transcultural voices, exploring the emotional, historical, and spiritual threads that connect us through song.
This month’s edition turns to the music of Bob Dylan — whose poetry and fearless commentary offered insight into the complexity of the human soul and inspired generations to question power, morality, faith, and human dignity.
Through imaginative new arrangements of his songs, this program traces the arc of Dylan’s career, following the social and spiritual searching that defines his work — from protest to prophecy, from doubt to belief.
The evening begins with an outdoor reception and Havdalah, marking the close of Shabbat before the concert.
